A combination of the Olympics, Bradley Wiggins winning the Tour de France and the sight of famous cyclist Boris Johnson dangling on a broken zip wire means cycling is very much in the news.
If the recent spell of warm weather has left you in the mood for the open road, have you considered the Peabody Cycle Tour?
The route starts at 80 Eaton Square, where
our founder George Peabody spent the last months of his life, and wends its way past historical Peabody estates, cafes, shops and street markets.
It ends at Westminster Abbey, where George's funeral was held in 1869.
You'll find Peabody Cycle Tour details on our 150th anniversary website.
The Peabody Cycle Tour is making its own headlines, already featured in
The Westminster News,
The Newham Recorder and many other local newspapers.
