We've linked up with the London Fire Brigade to offer the Local Intervention Fire Education (LIFE) programme: an intensive five-day course, open to those aged 13-17 who live on our Pembury estate in Hackney.
Participants will be taught by firefighters:
- how to use ladders
- casualty rescue techniques
- how to use breathing equipment
- first-aid equipment
- many aspects of fire safety and fire prevention
The course runs 8-12 October 2012.
