Free festival for all the family

04 September 2012

The Cally Festival is an exciting pop-up street festival, celebrating Caledonian Road’s vibrant atmosphere of trade, community and art.

From noon, Sunday 16 September, there will be more than 100 stalls, offering delicious food, arts and crafts. All this plus live music across three stages, including a talent contest and an appearance from local celebrity Dave Elvis.

The Cally Festival is an affordable public event, with many activities centred round families. Free workshops are taking place on the day for everyone to get involved in, such as puppet making, plant potting, hula hooping, origami, and furniture upcycling. These will be hosted by local artists, community groups and businesses who will all have information on how to sign up to more regular activities and clubs in the area.
