Diversity forum - annual general meeting

The Diversity forum invites you to attend its annual general meeting (AMG) on Saturday 26 September 2009.

Come along and meet the residents on the Diversity Forum who help ensure that Peabody practices and promotes equality for everybody.

Date: Saturday 26 September
Time: 10.30am -1pm
Location: Imperial War Museum, Lambeth Road, SE1 6HZ

The annual general meeting includes:

  • a review of the forum’s successes and achievements
  • an overview of diversity at Peabody
  • election of the new committee
  • Your Estate, Your History - Whitechapel Talk

After the event, you can enjoy lunch and the chance to meet other residents, as well as:

12pm-1pm - Activate Session including a free MOT Health check
Get a blood pressure and cholesterol check and healthy eating advice.

2pm-3pm - Free historical walking tour of the Whitechapel Estate, war memorial and surrounding area with a qualified tour guide.
Discover the story of what happened on a fateful day in 1940 and see the war memorial installed by Peabody in 1995. We have a limited number of places available, so recommend you reserve the tour when you book your place on the conference. The coach departs from the Imperial War Museum at 1.15pm and returns at 4pm.
