The second stage of the digital switchover switchover takes place on Wednesday 18 April: the date when all traditional analogue television signals are being switched off as part of the government’s policy to introduce a new digital signal.
This means that, after this date, older televisions showing BBC1, BBC2, ITV Channel 4 and Channel 5 will probably stop working. And if you don't have Sky or cable TV, you'll need to retune your television again (you must also have a digitally enabled TV or Freeview box).
If you find you need help you can ring the Government’s digital helpline on 08456 50 50 50.
You can also ring Peabody Direct who can help by passing a message to our digital contractor SCCI. You can reach them on (020) 7021 4444 or freephone 0800 022 4040. Lines are open Monday to Friday, 8am - 8pm.
