Our £120m application to redevelop the St John’s Hill Estate in Clapham Junction was approved by the local authority on Wednesday night.
It's the culmination of five years of planning and subject to final approval from the Mayor, we aim to begin work as soon the first phase of development is vacated.
We plan to develop:
- 527 homes; 53 per cent of which will be affordable
- A 530 square-metre hub at the centre of the development for the whole community
- 569 square-metres of commercial units opposite Clapham Junction railway station set around an entrance plaza
- High quality open space including a new public route from the railway station to Wandsworth Common and a new public square.
You can read more about the decision to approve Peabody's application on Wandsworth Council's website.
