Peabody will be piloting a London-wide scheme called G15 London moves from Friday 13 May. The scheme will give G15* social housing tenants, already on a transfer waiting list, the chance to move to other G15 properties for work or training opportunities.

It aims to move social tenants quickly by prioritising them based on eligibility criteria such as written confirmation of a job offer, being in full-time education or training which is linked to a job offer or, the need to move to keep an existing job. Additional qualifying criteria must also be met, ie they must be a secure or assured tenant, have lived at the property for a minimum of one year, have a good rental payment record etc.

Once a tenant has been successful in their application, they can bid for a property and move – it’s a quick and easy as that!
