  • Tree-planting at Cumberland Market

    Stephen Howlett, Peabody’s chief executive, went along to Cumberland Market last Thursday 16 June to plant a tree to celebrate former Crown Estate residents joining the Peabody community. Frank Dobson, Labour MP for Holborn and St Pancras, was also there to help with the spade work.

    Hackney Host volunteers held a party on 7 June to celebrate the contributions and achievements local volunteers have made in the borough. The volunteers had a chance to actually see and hear about the great things they have been doing – giving them a real sense of pride!

    Bellway and Peabody plans for Pembury Circus was approved by London Borough of Hackney on Wednesday 8 June. Permission was given to deliver an outstanding regeneration project for the Pembury Estate, delivering up to 280 high-quality new homes, shops and community facilities.
