Peabody in the news

Last year Peabody’s food bank collection resulted in enough food for more than 1,500 meals. Following on from this success, we are organising another collection for food banks across London.

Suggested foods include tinned food, jam, pasta, sugar, cooking oil, cereal, tea bags, long life fruit juice, cereal and ketchup.

We are also collecting good quality toys to distribute to children in time for Christmas.

Further information

In 2013 Peabody was the first housing provider to be approved to issue food bank vouchers directly to residents in need.

Last year we issued 119 food vouchers and worked with families to help them avoid a crisis like this in the future.
