People at an IT training session in London

Peabody Net Worx’s "Spring Tweeters" event

A fantastic time was had by everyone who attended the Net Worx "Spring Tweeters" event, at Darwin Court, our Southwark community centre.

The special, day-long session taught learners the basics of Twitter, and helped them increase their overall knowledge of the internet.

The event was run in celebration of Digital Unite’s Spring Online initiative. The week-long campaign comprises thousands of free "Get online" events around the UK, aiming to introduce local people to the Internet.

“I can’t believe these sessions run weekly and I didn’t know," said Karol, one of the Net Worx learners. "Today has been very helpful, I’ve learnt so much in a short time. These classes are really good, I’m coming back next week!”
