Press release: Sandra Skeete joins Peabody Trust as Director of Customer Services

Press release date: 20 September 2007

Leading housing association Peabody Trust has today announced the appointment of a new Director of Customer Services to succeed Julie Webb who left earlier this month.

Sandra Skeete joins Peabody from City West Homes where she was director of customer services responsible for managing 20,000 leasehold and tenanted homes within Westminster’s three star ALMO.  Prior to joining City West, Sandra was chief executive of Refugee Housing Association, a subsidiary of Metropolitan Housing Partnership, and has held managerial posts at ASRA and North British.

Announcing the appointment, Peabody's Chief Executive Stephen Howlett said:  "I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with Sandra at such an exciting time for the Trust and the housing sector, generally.  She’s proved herself to be an effective leader with extensive local authority contacts.  This is particularly important to us now as we make a step change in the quality of our housing management and estate services."

Sandra Skeete said:  "Peabody makes a huge contribution to housing and community regeneration, and I am looking forward to working with Steve, my fellow directors and the Trust’s staff to put customer service at the heart of all they do."

Sandra took up her appointment in early September 2007.  She was appointed following an open competition.
