A community fun day and barbeque held at Peabody’s Hugh Cubitt community centre on Priory Green estate last Saturday was attended by hundreds of people from the local community.
The event was held to promote the wide range of free services available at the Hugh Cubitt centre, from free internet access and training, to advice on how to write a killer CV, to health and well-being activities.
The day was fun-filled with free activities for people of all ages:

The event was organised by Peabody, one of London's oldest and largest housing associations.
Peabody Special Projects Manager Surjit Power said:
“The event was a great opportunity to celebrate our local community and learn more about the range of services available at Peabody's Hugh Cubitt Centre, from IT and employment training to weekly fashion workshops for young people. All of the services are free so we hope to see more and more local people stopping by to make the most of them. ”
