Community projects
Peabody not only provides much needed social and affordable housing, but it also delivers and administers community based projects for a wide range of public and charitable organisations.
Our community initiatives team works in joint partnership with the public sector, charities and private organisations.
Peabody's mission is to make London a city of opportunity for all by ensuring as many people as possible have a good home, a real sense of purpose and a strong feeling of belonging. We do this through our various schemes by engaging with our residents and the community, providing support services that reflect their needs.
We deliver a range of community projects, from helping older people to live independently and engage with their community, to providing accredited IT and basic skills courses to disadvantaged groups and individuals to help them gain employment.
