Residents' associations
Residents' associations are one of the many ways that you can get involved. They work on an area or estate level to ensure that residents have a voice.
Peabody supports around 40 active residents' associations across London. Some associations represent areas where there are tenants only, and some represent areas where there is a mixture of tenants and homeowners.
To find out if you have a resident association on your estate contact your neighbourhood manager.
How do I start up a residents' association?
If you are interested in forming a residents' association for your estate or area, the first thing to do is to talk to your neighbours to see if they would support the idea. Then form a small steering group of interested people to work with Peabody to set up the Residents' association.
At this point it is important that you contact your neighbourhood manager who will help you to set up your association, in line with our criteria.
