Day care
Open Monday to Friday for over-65s in Tower Hamlets.
Our day care actively promotes health and well-being and encourages an understanding of a healthy lifestyle through a wide range of services and activities.
We provide:
- fully accessible transport to and from home
- trained care staff that are engaging, helpful and understanding
- a service that is sensitive to cultural diversity
- access to a range of well-being services, from benefit advice to chiropody, eye tests and hairdressing
- healthy, tasty home-cooked meals
- opportunities to share your experiences and learn new skills
- a place to meet old friends and make new ones
- user forums where you can have your say in planning services.
The day care service offers 30 places per day. It is managed by Peabody on behalf of London Borough of Tower Hamlets Adults Health and Wellbeing (Social Services). All referrals must be made by Tower Hamlets Adults Health and Wellbeing.
