Mutual exchange
Peabody receives many applications from people wanting to move to a new home, and there are not enough properties to meet everyone's need.
However, if you have a Peabody secure or assured tenancy, you can swap your home with other social landlord tenants - other Peabody residents, residents from other housing associations or council tenants. You cannot exchange with somebody in private rented accommodation.
You must get permission from Peabody before you arrange to move, and your exchange partner must get permission from their landlord. If you swap without written permission we may take legal action to repossess the property.
