Two boys learning how to use audio equipment

A mobile-optimised website, now being developed into an app, helping young people to be safe in and around London.

"Designed by young people for young people – you won’t want to leave home without it."

Ask Keely is a website offering advice and information on topics important to young Londoners. It has been specifically designed for mobile devices to take advantage of the increase in smartphone use.

Ask Keely

The original idea came from members of St Andrew's youth club in Westminster, who found it difficult to search online to find clear and up-to-date content written in a style they could relate to.

Ask Keely includes webpages advising young people what to do if in trouble, links to organisations offering support, useful phone numbers, and tips on how to send free text messages.

It has a comprehensive health section which includes guidance on basic first aid techniques, what to do if someone is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and a tool to find the nearest hospital.
Content has been checked and verified with external agencies, including the Red Cross.
