Older people

We provide a range of services for older people - from daycentres to social events to learning and healthy living activities. We also run a floating support service for Peabody tenants aged 80 and over, living in general needs accommodation.

• an outreach service aimed at over 60s
• Well Met, a befriending service for over 55s

• day care services
• LinkAge Plus (offers you access to services in your borough)
• a learning zone, for employment advice, training and qualifications
• and lots more

Our other community centres attract a mix of young and older people.

Facilities vary but might include a swimming pool, multi-purpose room (for keep fit classes), computers, a health suite. Most have a restaurant or cafe.
