Who we are

Launched in June 2012 to celebrate our 150th anniversary

Our Peabody cycle tour is the perfect excuse to spend a couple of hours exploring London's rich history by bike.

It will familiarises you with some of the architecture that makes Peabody buildings such a unique and important part of London’s rich cultural fabric.

Our route...

We start at 80 Eaton Square, where George Peabody spent the last month of his life, and wends its way past historical Peabody estates – as well as the odd pub. You'll pass plenty of cafes, shops and street markets on the way, too. It ends at Westminster Abbey, where George's funeral was held in 1869.

Our video...

Launched during Bike Week 2012, our film follows Peabody Chief Executive Stephen Howlett, together with Peabody employees, on a whistle-stop ride, taking in five of the most impressive sites on our Westminster tour. They visited Eaton Square, Peabody Avenue, Bessborough Place, Abbey Orchard Street, and Westminster Abbey.
