Christopher Strickland
Chair
Chartered Engineer. Director of Greycoat Estates Ltd and partner in City Offices LLP. Member of the board of British Property Federation and past president of the British Council for Offices. Peabody board member since January 2003.

Dudley Fishburn
Deputy Chair
Director of HSBC Bank plc. Holds independent directorships of a number of multinational companies. Chairman, Harvard University Library. Spent nine years as MP for Kensington and was voted 1993 Radical of the Year for his work on leasehold reform. Formerly executive editor of The Economist. Peabody board member since 2000.  

Urmila (Millie) Banerjee CBE
Non-executive director of the Office of Communications (Ofcom) and chair of Postwatch. Previously Chief Operating Officer of ICO Global Communications (1995-2000) and spent 25 years with BT (1970 to 1995). Member of the strategy board of the Cabinet Office (1998–2005). Non-executive director of the Strategic Rail Authority (2002–2005), Sector Skills Development Agency (2002-2004) and Channel 4 TV (2000-2002). Peabody board member since September 2008.

Marisa Cassoni
Finance Director of the John Lewis Partnership. Former group finance director of the Royal Mail Group plc. Previously group finance director of Britannic Assurance plc. Previously non-executive director of Severn Trent plc, a FTSE 100 environment and water utility company. Peabody board member since July 2005. 
 

Claudette Forbes
Consultant as CAF Consulting, assisting the public sector, and currently working with the London Borough of Bromley to delivery of a number of priority developments within the borough. Has more than 17 years as an experienced urban regeneration professional, operating at director level within local and regional government. Board member since November 2008.

Tim How
Tim How became a member of the Board in 2008. Until August 2008, he was Chief Executive of Majestic Wine PLC, the largest wine warehouse chain with 141 stores in the UK and 3 in northern France. Before joining Majestic he was Managing Director of the frozen food retailers Bejam Group PLC. He is non-executive chairman of Framlington AIM VCT plc and a director of Henderson Group plc.

Karl King
Barrister at Hardwicke Chambers, specialising in the fields of real property, landlord and tenant, and housing. Member of the Common Law Bar Association and the Property Bar Association, and is an elected member of the South Eastern Circuit. He is also a member of the Lord Chancellor's Joint Working Party on Judicial Appointments. Peabody board member since December 2006.  

Malcolm Levi
The TSA recently made Malcolm a statutory appointee on the board of Novas Scarman. HACT ambassador and sits on the editorial panel of Inside Housing. Former Chief Executive of Home Group. Set up an urban Community Land Trust model with Corporation funding. Previously served on two housing association boards. Distinguished member of the CIH since 2001. Peabody board member since May 2009.
 
 

Elizabeth Peace CBE
Liz Peace is Chief Executive Officer of the British Property Federation (BPF) and joined the board of Peabody in January 2010. Prior to her appointment as Chief Executive of the BPF Liz was Company Secretary and Director of Corporate Affairs for QinetiQ Group plc (1990-02), Assistant Director in Ministry of Defence Management Services (1985-90) and Assistant Director in MOD Army Secretariat (1984). Liz has a number of other appointments including trustee of property charity LandAid and non-executive director of Turley Associates.

June Welcome
Has worked in the social housing sector for 19 years. Trustee of the Bridges Community Project. Trustee of the West Silvertown Village Foundation. Chair of the Peabody’s Diversity Forum. Resident board member since January 2009.
