Peabody residents: your invitation to Westminster Abbey
As part of our 150th anniversary celebrations, there will be a multi-faith service at Westminster Abbey, celebrating the life of our founder George Peabody. Invitations are going out to Peabody residents during the first week of February.

Delegates from London's social housing, health and well-being sectors will explore well-being and social housing at Peabody's third annual London Well-Being Conference, due to take place on 9 February.Demolition works on Peabody's Underwood Road site in Tower Hamlets are now underway, in preparation for a new development that will provide much needed new homes for local people. A group of 16-19 year olds from Southwark has collaborated with some of London’s top creative talent to launch a poster campaign with the hard-hitting message that knife crime can only end in two ways – prison or death.
